Challenge: Failures and Instabilities with Low-Code Automations

The company was experiencing frequent execution failures and instabilities with low-code automations. “Initially, everything worked as expected. But then we started encountering instabilities and errors here and there, like functions that wouldn’t execute or couldn’t be done,” explains Elias Rodrigues, Automation Project Manager at Andrade Gutierrez.

Faced with these challenges, the company began investing in Python solutions, increasing the number of coded scripts. This shift, however, introduced a new challenge: orchestrating and governing Python automations, including monitoring and maintaining them.

Solution: Team Training and Orchestrator for Python RPA

Andrade Gutierrez began investing in training its developers in Python RPA and migrating bots from Blue Prism to Python, with deployment on the BotCity platform. Within 60 days, the RPA team migrated over 40 automations from Blue Prism to BotCity. Additionally, they developed a custom control panel using BotCity Orchestrator’s open APIs, centralizing RPA operation data and providing a clear real-time view of bot performance.
